Ike Turner pretty much became extinct when everyone found out he beat Tina Turner. Yet here we all are watching and supporting Chris Brown, who did the exact same thing. I just don’t understand how our society can pretend like nothing ever happened, especially after we all saw the photos of Rihanna’s face.
Domestic violence isn’t a joke and people who playing it off like nothing happened have some serious reevaluating to do. I just don’t think it’s something we should be celebrating.
